This policy explains what personal data 0044VAULT collects, why we collect it, and what you can ask us to do with it. We try to keep it plain.
Who we are
0044VAULT (“we”, “us”) is a London-based streetwear reseller and the data controller for the personal data described below. Company registration and ICO details: TBC. Reach us at contact@0044vault.com.
What we collect
When you place an order or sign up: name, email, delivery and billing address, phone number, what you ordered, and the partial card details our payment provider returns to us (last four digits and card type). We never see your full card number.
When you browse: pages you view, the device and browser you use, approximate location based on IP, and — if you accept them — cookies for cart, login, and analytics.
When you email us: whatever you choose to send.
Why we collect it
To take your order, ship it, take payment, handle returns, run the website, prevent fraud, comply with our legal obligations (tax, accounting), and — only if you opt in — send you the occasional email about drops.
Lawful bases under UK GDPR: contract (to fulfil your order), legitimate interests (running and securing the site), legal obligation (keeping records), and consent (marketing emails and non-essential cookies).
Who we share it with
We share only what each party needs to do their job:
- The studio or stockist that fulfils your order — they need your name and delivery address to ship the parcel.
- Our payment processor (e.g. Stripe / PayPal) — to take payment.
- Couriers (e.g. Royal Mail, DHL, DPD) — to deliver.
- Our hosting, email, and analytics providers — to run the site.
- HMRC and other regulators when the law requires it.
We don’t sell your data. We don’t share it with any other third parties for marketing.
International transfers
Some of the studios and providers we work with are based outside the UK. Where data leaves the UK, we rely on UK-approved safeguards (adequacy regulations or the International Data Transfer Agreement / Addendum to the EU SCCs).
Cookies
We use a small number of essential cookies (cart, session, login) which don’t need consent. Analytics and any future advertising cookies only run if you accept them via the cookie banner. You can clear cookies any time in your browser settings.
How long we keep it
Order records: 7 years (UK tax and accounting law). Account data: until you ask us to delete it. Marketing list: until you unsubscribe. Site logs and analytics: up to 26 months.
Your rights
Under UK GDPR you can ask us to: see the data we hold on you, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, port it elsewhere, or object to certain uses (including direct marketing). Email contact@0044vault.com and we’ll respond within one month.
If you’re not happy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Marketing
We only email you about drops, restocks, or company news if you ask us to. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link, and one click is enough.
Security
The site runs over HTTPS, payment data is handled by PCI-DSS-compliant processors, and access to customer data is restricted to people who need it to run the business. No system is perfectly secure — if you spot anything that looks off, please email us.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The version live on the site is the one that applies.
